1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or to work more efficiently, and to provide information to website owners.
2. How we use cookies
MailVerify is primarily an API product. Our public marketing site and dashboard use only the following cookies:

| next-auth.session-token | Essential | Maintains your logged-in session in the dashboard. | Session / 30 days |
| next-auth.csrf-token | Essential | Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks. | Session |
| next-auth.callback-url | Essential | Remembers where to redirect after sign-in. | Session |
3. What we do not use
- Analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar).
- Advertising or retargeting cookies.
- Third-party tracking pixels.
- A/B testing cookies.
Our API endpoints do not set any cookies. The API is entirely cookie-free.
4. Managing cookies
Essential cookies are necessary for the dashboard to function. You can disable them in your browser settings, but this will prevent you from logging in. To manage cookies, refer to your browser's help documentation:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
